Privacy Policy

Lime City Media ("we," "us," or "our") is a creative production studio and marketing agency based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We respect your privacy and are careful with the information you share with us. By using our website or contacting us, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a form, call, text, or email us, we collect what you choose to send: your name, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, how you heard about us, and anything else you include in your message. If you become a client, we also collect the information needed to plan and deliver your project, along with billing details.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, our hosting provider and advertising tools may automatically record technical details such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site or ad that referred you. This is standard website traffic information and is not used to identify you by name.

Photos and video

If you book a session or production with us, we create photographs and video that may include you, your family, your employees, your products, or your property. How that media may be used is covered in the agreement for your specific project.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiry and send you a quote or proposal
• Schedule, plan, and deliver the services you hire us for
• Send invoices and process payment
• Communicate with you about your project, including by phone, text, and email
• Improve our website and understand which pages and ads people find useful
• Market our services, including through advertising on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google
• Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your contact details to unrelated companies.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These tools help us understand how people find and use our site, measure whether our ads are working, and show our ads to people who have visited our website. They may also allow Meta to recognize your browser across other sites and apps.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can limit ad tracking through the privacy settings in your Facebook, Instagram, and Google accounts. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of our website function.

Our site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers. Companies that host our website, deliver our contact form, process payments, host photo galleries, send email, and provide advertising and analytics tools. These include, among others, Netlify (hosting), Formspree (contact form delivery), HubSpot (our customer relationship management system, where inquiries are stored so we can follow up), Meta (advertising), Google (website fonts and search tools, which may receive your IP address when a page loads), and Pixieset (photo galleries).
• Contractors. Photographers, videographers, editors, and other creative professionals we work with to complete your project. They are expected to keep your information and media confidential.
• Legal reasons. If required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfer. If our business is sold or merged, client information may transfer as part of that transaction.

Calls, Texts, and Email

If you call, text, or email us, or submit a form with your phone number, you agree that we may contact you back using that same method about your inquiry and your project. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. Message frequency varies. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or your consent to receive texts with third parties for their own marketing. You can stop receiving texts from us at any time by replying STOP, or ask to be removed from any list by emailing us. We will still contact you as needed about an active project you've hired us for.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to follow up and for a reasonable period afterward in case you get back in touch. Client records, contracts, and billing information are kept as long as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Finished photo and video files are kept according to the terms of your project agreement and may be archived or removed after delivery, so please download and back up your final files.

How We Protect Information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, including secure (HTTPS) connections on our website, access-controlled accounts, and reputable service providers. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please don't send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or full payment card numbers by email or text.

Your Choices and Rights

You may:

• Ask us what personal information we have about you
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we're required to keep
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the email, or by contacting us
• Ask us to stop texting or calling you for marketing purposes

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws such as the Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), or the GDPR. We will respond to verified requests within the time those laws require, and we will not discriminate against you for making one. To make any request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are directed to adults and businesses, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. When we photograph minors, such as at family or school sessions, we work through the parent or guardian who books and authorizes the session. If you believe a child has provided us information through this website, contact us and we will delete it.
